Rod Fai 1

Rod Fai Market is located in the eastern suburbs of Bangkok with old-fashioned beauty.

Rod Fai is more outstanding than other Bangkok night markets but it’s hard to find because the location is hidden behind Seacon Square.

Rod Fai 2

The new Rot Fai market in Ratchada will give visitors a sense of relaxation with antique shops and fast food stores. Moving from the market to the city center is quite convenient as Rod Fai 2 is close to the Cultural Center MRT station.

Siam Gypsy Junction

Siam Gypsy Junction is one of Bangkok’s newest night markets with lots of unique items in vintage styles. Around the market, there are many one-of-a-kind bars. The most prominent of them is the Homeless Bar – built on the side of an old camping van.

The only inconvenience is that pedestrians, motorcyclists, and cyclists are all on the same road, so visitors will not have the opportunity to walk and shop in a comfortable way.

Liab Duan

Liab Duan night market is located far from the city and is also known as “the market along the highway.” Liab Duan sells an abundance of items, but most are… fake goods representing many brands like G-shock and Louis Vuitton.

Rot Boran

Rot Boran is located near the Liab Duan Market where a variety of booths are decorated.

Asiatique

The Asiatique market will offer you a unique shopping experience with a successful combination of the style of a night market and a large shopping center. From BTS Saphan Taksin, it takes about ten minutes to get to Asiatique. It was once an international commercial port and now is a shopping mall with over 1,500 clothing stores and about 40 restaurants.

Major Ratchoyothin Market

The items at Ratchoyothin are basically the same as in Khlong San market but are more modern and trendy. Major Ratchoyothin Market is located in the north of the city, next to Major Ratchoyothin cinema and the IMAX center. So you can watch a movie before your shopping experience. Several cheap shops and eateries can also be found at this market.

Guests can take the MRT to Phahonyothin Station then catch a tuk-tuk for the quickest way to Major Ratchoyothin Market.

JJ Green

JJ Green is probably one of the most enjoyable Bangkok night markets because of its unique style that gives it a contrast to the nearby Chatuchak market.

Its lively atmosphere comes from the combination of unique stalls selling an assortment of items from fashionable clothing, antique furniture, home furnishings, and home decor items… to rare Beatles cassette tapes. JJ Green is also known as the “holy city” of automotive enthusiasts – where you can find old gears, from cars and bicycles.

Tips: Mind the attitude of shopkeepers, some of them are short tempered and do not allow camera usage.

Khlong Lod Night Market

Khlong Lod is a market in Sanam Luang and mainly sells food and used products. The prices are affordable for customers’ souvenir needs. Although it was originally a market for street vendors, the Khlong Lod market is expanding and becoming more and more popular.

Khlong Thom market
